World Sustainable Transport Day, commemorated annually on 26th November by the United Nations, celebrates the role of inclusive, resilient, and environmentally friendly transport systems in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In 2025, Tanzania will host LATRA Transport Week from 24th to 29th November, under the theme "Green Transport and Innovation". This week-long event, led by the Land Transport Regulatory Authority (LATRA), will bring together policymakers, innovators, investors, and the public to shape a unified national vision for sustainable mobility.
